At the start of 2006 I left the residential appraisal business after a successful 20 year career to pursue a parallel career in the commercial appraisal business. I accepted a senior analyst position with Integra Realty Resources-Austin (www.irr.com) and began working in the fascinating and complex commercial real estate field. By 2009 I qualified for the MAI desingation from the Appraisal Institute. I am now dual-designated having received the parallel residential designation, SRA, in 1989.
